THE NEW CAP DESIGN OF OUR BIG POUCH REDUCES PLASTIC BY 14 %

Our caps will soon be attached to the pouch and made from the same recyclable material – so recycling becomes way easier. Plus: with the new design, we’re using 14 % less material than with the old caps. That saves 86.5 tons of plastic every single year!

Our pouch is 5x lighter than a comparable PET bottle

Our new, recyclable Capri-Sun pouch is an incredible five times lighter than a similar volume PET bottle and saves 2'300 tons of aluminium every year vs. the old pouch. That is equivalent to 383 full-grown elephants! Our new pouch is recyclable, light as a feather but almost unbreakable. The best part? It’s here to make sure your juice drink stays as fresh and delicious as ever. Pinky promise!

We use 60% recycled paper in our cardboard packaging

Let's talk about our cardboard packaging! We use 60 % recycled paper to produce them. And as our cardboard material is fully recyclable, it can be re-used after its sunny mission is complete. So, next time you use one of our cardboards, remember the incredible journey it's been on!

This achievement at the UK Packaging Awards 2024 highlights our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and delivering the best product for our consumers. The flexible packaging solution is not only designed to keep our drinks fresh but also aligns with our goals to reduce environmental impact.

One judge said: “(...) A lighter and fully recyclable pack, offers the consumer the same convenience with no reduction in performance and offers emission and waste reduction benefits. A worthy winner.”
